Caterina Patti

Caterina Chiesa Barili-Patti (died 1870), soprano from an Italian family of singers. Her father was Salvatore Patti (1800-69) and her daughter was Adelina Patti (1843-1919).

Caterina was the first Eleonora in Gaetano Donizetti‘s L‘assedio di Calais (Naples, Teatro San Carlo, 1836).
